BOK, LLC ("we", "our", "us") is a free social entertainment platform operated from 847 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2W9, Canada. We are committed to protecting the privacy of every person who visits this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, how we use information, and your rights under applicable Canadian privacy law. Please read this document carefully. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, your recourse is to discontinue use of the website. This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over only.
BOK, LLC collects only the minimum technical information required to operate the website and understand aggregate usage patterns. Specifically, when you visit any page on this site, our web server and analytics systems may record the following non-personally-identifying data points:
The above data is collected for the sole purpose of improving the platform experience. No item in the list above constitutes personally identifiable information on its own, and we do not combine these items in ways that would identify an individual. We do not build user profiles, we do not cross-reference this data with external databases, and we do not sell or share any of it for advertising purposes.
Given that BOK, LLC requires no account registration and accepts no payments, an unusually large category of data is simply never collected here. For absolute clarity, the following types of information are never requested, stored, processed, or transmitted by BOK, LLC:
Because we do not collect personally identifying information, we are unable to answer requests for access to personal data that do not exist. If you believe personal data was inadvertently captured, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will investigate promptly.
We use Google Analytics (including the GA4 service delivered via gtag.js) to collect and analyse aggregate usage statistics. Google Analytics places cookies and similar tracking technologies in your browser to distinguish visits and report on user behaviour at a statistical level. The cookies set by Google Analytics are named _ga, _ga_* (session counter), and _gid (daily visitor distinction). The data these cookies collect is transmitted to Google LLC servers and processed in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy, which can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy.
We have configured our Google Analytics implementation with IP anonymisation enabled. This means the final octet of each visitor's IP address is masked before the data reaches Google's servers, further reducing the risk of individual identification. Google Analytics is loaded and activated only after a visitor provides cookie consent through our on-site consent banner. Visitors who decline cookies will not have Google Analytics cookies placed in their browser, and no analytics data will be sent to Google for that session. See Section 4 and our Cookie Policy for full details of this consent mechanism.
BOK, LLC uses browser cookies and the Web Storage API (localStorage) for two primary purposes: (a) storing your age-gate response so you are not interrupted on every return visit, and (b) storing your cookie-consent preference. These two mechanisms are classified as strictly necessary and are active regardless of consent choice because they are required for the site to function correctly and to honour your own stated preferences. No personal information is written to these storage locations — only the string value "1" (age confirmed) or "accepted"/"declined" (consent record). Both expire after 180 days from the date they are set. Full details of all cookies used on this site are documented in our Cookie Policy.
Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) are set only if you click "Accept" on the cookie consent banner. If you click "Decline", these cookies are not placed and Google Analytics remains inactive for your session. You may change your cookie preference at any time by clicking the shield icon in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen the consent banner.
The non-personally-identifying technical data described in Section 1 is used exclusively for the following purposes:
We do not use any data collected via this website for targeted advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than those listed above. We do not disclose aggregate analytics data to third parties other than Google (as described in Section 3) and do not sell any data under any circumstances.
Session-level analytics data (browser type, viewport, pages visited, duration) processed via Google Analytics is retained in Google's infrastructure for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not retain our own copies of this data beyond what Google Analytics provides in its standard reporting interface. Our web server access logs (which may briefly contain IP addresses) are overwritten automatically within 72 hours as part of normal server maintenance. localStorage entries written by BOK, LLC (age gate, consent record) persist in your own browser until you clear your browser data or until the 180-day expiry is reached — whichever comes first. We have no access to data stored in your browser's localStorage.
Canadian residents have statutory privacy rights under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, in British Columbia, the provincial Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA BC). Quebec residents have additional rights under An Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25 / Bill 64). To the extent any personal information is collected by BOK, LLC — which, as explained above, is minimal — you have the following rights:
To exercise any of the above rights, contact us at [email protected]. We do not require proof of identity beyond a reasonable level of verification appropriate to the sensitivity of the request, given that we hold no sensitive personal data.
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect the limited data we collect from accidental loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include: encrypted HTTPS communication on all pages; server-side access log rotation and overwriting within 72 hours; restricted administrative access to hosting infrastructure; and regular security updates applied to server software. Since we do not store financial data, account credentials, or personal identifiers, our attack surface is significantly smaller than that of a typical web platform. Nevertheless, we treat security as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time configuration.
Our hosting infrastructure is located in Canada. However, our use of Google Analytics means that analytics data may be transferred to and processed on Google LLC servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. Google processes this data subject to its own privacy policy and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses or other transfer mechanisms compliant with applicable Canadian and international privacy law. By accepting analytics cookies, you acknowledge that your aggregated usage data may be transferred to and processed in the United States by Google. Visitors who decline analytics cookies are not subject to any international data transfer through our platform.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of BOK, LLC after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If any change is materially adverse to your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to draw attention to it via a notice on our homepage for a period of at least 30 days after the change takes effect.
For privacy-related enquiries, access requests, correction requests, or complaints, please contact us by any of the following means. We aim to acknowledge all enquiries within 5 business days and to resolve them within 30 calendar days.
